We travel internationally for the right project, and Dubai is the one that comes up most often — superyacht work, industrial modules and assets being prepared for shipment.
The problem there is the opposite of the UK. It is heat, UV and dust rather than rain and wind, and the specification changes accordingly.

Marine and industrial. Yachts wrapped for yard periods and shipment out of Dubai Maritime City and Port Rashid, and industrial modules and equipment sealed for storage or export through Jebel Ali. UV and heat drive the specification here rather than wind and rain — film grade, colour choice and ventilation all change when the envelope is standing in that climate rather than a British winter.

We cover UAE and the surrounding area from our Isle of Wight base, working across Dubai Marina, Port Rashid, Jebel Ali and the Dubai Maritime City yards. Travel is set out separately on every quote, so you can see exactly what the trip costs rather than finding it buried in a rate.

Every Dubai job starts with a survey — on site, or from your photos if that is quicker. We measure it, work out the frame, the film area, the seams and the fixings, and the number you get back is the number you pay.

Pricing
Priced on the square metres of film that end up on the frame, which follows the profile rather than the footprint.
The frame is often more of the job than the film. Complex shapes and awkward access both add crew time.
Flame-retardant and heavier gauges cost more per square metre. We specify for the job rather than defaulting.
Set out as its own line so you can see it. Where we can batch Dubai work into an existing run, it comes down.
We do not publish a Dubai rate, because a rate quoted before anyone has seen the job is a guess that gets corrected on your invoice. What you get instead is a fixed price after survey, with removal and disposal included from the start. Most Dubai enquiries are answered the same working day, and photographs are usually enough to get a realistic figure moving.
