Overview
Cowes is ten minutes from our workshop, which makes it the closest thing we have to a home yard. We wrap boats here every week from the end of the season through to spring, and most of it comes by word of mouth along the Medina.
The yards here fill fast in October. If you want a cover on before the first proper blow, the sensible move is to book the survey in September rather than ring us the week the forecast turns.

Cowes work is almost entirely marine. Racing yachts coming out after Cowes Week, motor cruisers going into winter lay-up, and refits under cover in the Medina yards where the boat has to stay dry for months while the work goes on around it. We know the access at each of the main yards, which matters when you are getting timber and film to a boat in a packed hard standing.

We are based on the Island, so Cowes, East Cowes, Newport and Yarmouth are effectively same-day. There is no ferry surcharge on Island work.
We cover PO31, PO32 and the surrounding area from our Isle of Wight base, working across Cowes Yacht Haven, East Cowes Marina, Shepards Marina, the Medina boatyards and Island Harbour. Travel is set out separately on every quote, so you can see exactly what the trip costs rather than finding it buried in a rate.

The frame is often more of the job than the film. Complex shapes and awkward access both add crew time.
Flame-retardant and heavier gauges cost more per square metre. We specify for the job rather than defaulting.
