The challenge
An abnormal load moves slowly, under escort and often overnight, but it still meets rain, road spray and wind for the whole run. A cover that lifts at the edges is a hazard to the convoy as well as a risk to the load, so there could not be a loose edge anywhere on it.
How we approached it
The unit was wrapped on the trailer, heat-welded into one skin and shrunk tight, with every edge and termination detailed so nothing could peel back in airflow. Lashing points were left clear so the load could be secured and checked before it moved.
The outcome
A tight, sealed cover that travelled the full move under escort and arrived as it left.
