East Anglia and the East Coast · NR29 to NR31
Norfolk and Suffolk are covered on planned east coast runs, and we batch work in the region to keep travel down. Travel is its own line on every quote.
Overview
Great Yarmouth is two markets at once. There is the river and the Broads, full of cruisers and private craft that come ashore for winter, and there is the offshore energy industry working out of the Outer Harbour and South Denes with equipment that has to survive a North Sea winter sitting on a quay.
Both need the same thing: a sealed cover that does not flog itself to pieces in the first easterly gale. The Norfolk coast gets weather straight off the North Sea with nothing in the way of it.
Local focus
Marine leads. Winter covers for cruisers and motor yachts on the Yare and the Broads moorings, workboat and crew transfer vessel covers, and protection for offshore equipment and components standing on the quays. Alongside it, scaffold encapsulation on the seafront and the town centre refurbishment work, where salt-laden wind takes sheeting apart in weeks.

Getting to you
Norfolk and Suffolk are covered on planned east coast runs, and we batch work in the region to keep travel down. Travel is its own line on every quote.
We cover NR29 to NR31 and the surrounding area from our Isle of Wight base, working across the Outer Harbour and South Denes, the River Yare quays, the offshore energy base, Gorleston and the river mouth and the Broads moorings upriver. Travel is set out separately on every quote, so you can see exactly what the trip costs rather than finding it buried in a rate.
Before we quote
Every Great Yarmouth job starts with a survey — on site, or from your photos if that is quicker. We measure it, work out the frame, the film area, the seams and the fixings, and the number you get back is the number you pay.

Illustrative figures. Your Great Yarmouth survey is carried out on site — or from photos, if you'd rather start there.
Pricing
Priced on the square metres of film that end up on the frame, which follows the profile rather than the footprint.
The frame is often more of the job than the film. Complex shapes and awkward access both add crew time.
Flame-retardant and heavier gauges cost more per square metre. We specify for the job rather than defaulting.
Set out as its own line so you can see it. Where we can batch Great Yarmouth work into an existing run, it comes down.
We do not publish a Great Yarmouth rate, because a rate quoted before anyone has seen the job is a guess that gets corrected on your invoice. What you get instead is a fixed price after survey, with removal and disposal included from the start. Most Great Yarmouth enquiries are answered the same working day, and photographs are usually enough to get a realistic figure moving.

Not every Great Yarmouth job needs a site visit to get moving. Send a couple of photos and rough dimensions and one of our installers will tell you what is involved — including when shrink wrap is not the right call.

Common questions
Yes. Great Yarmouth is part of our regular coverage and boat shrink wrapping is the work we do most of there. Norfolk and Suffolk are covered on planned east coast runs, and we batch work in the region to keep travel down. Travel is its own line on every quote.
There is no Great Yarmouth rate, because the price follows the job rather than the postcode. Size, framing, film grade and access drive it, and travel is set out separately so you can see exactly what you are paying. Send photos and rough dimensions and we will give you a realistic figure the same working day.
Yes — the Yare, the Bure and the Broads moorings upriver as well as the Outer Harbour and the quays. Tell us where she is lying and whether she is coming ashore or staying afloat.
Yes. Every quote is fixed after survey, with removal and disposal included from the start. We do not use provisional sums and we do not add a "subject to access" line.
All five sectors — marine, scaffolding and temporary roofs, industrial, transportation and aviation. Marine shrink wrap is what we are asked for most in Great Yarmouth, but the same crews cover the rest.
Yes. We are fully insured and risk assessments and method statements are supplied as standard on every commercial job, along with film certification at handover.
